Fareportal is seeking an Associate Data Analyst Lead Business Intelligence to design and deliver analytical solutions across Risk, Finance, Operations, and Product. The role emphasizes SQL, Power BI, Excel, and ETL, with collaboration across teams to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in BI or data analysis.
• Strong SQL, Excel, Power BI skills.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into structured reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and present clear, actionable insights to leadership teams.
• Build, optimize, and manage ETL workflows to ensure timely availability of high-quality data.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Ops, Audit etc. teams to support data-driven initiatives.
• Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data to support strategic decisions.
• Support data validation, QA, and documentation efforts across BI projects.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, flagging potential risks or anomalies.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a data-driven professional to join our team as a Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering analytical solutions that support decision-making across multiple departments, including Risk, Finance, Operations, and Product. This role demands strong technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and ETL, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into structured reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and present clear, actionable insights to leadership teams.
• Build, optimize, and manage ETL workflows to ensure timely availability of high-quality data.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Ops, Audit etc. teams to support data-driven initiatives.
• Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data to support strategic decisions.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and Power Query.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication to explain technical findings to non-technical users.
• Experience collaborating across teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance).
• 3+ years of work experience with business intelligence or other data analysis or a similar role.
• Certifications in analytics or BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, SQL, or Excel) are desirable.
