Job summary

Weekday is seeking a Mid-Senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards for business stakeholders across Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, and other India locations.

You will build Analysis Services models, implement DAX calculations, and ensure data integrity through robust ETL and data governance practices. A strong background in SQL, data modeling, and Power Platform is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on BI experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Experience building SSAS/SSRS/SSIS solutions.
• Strong data modeling and ETL development skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
• Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
• Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
• Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
• Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs
