Weekday is seeking a Mid-Senior BI Engineer to join clients in Bengaluru, Pune, or Gurgaon. You will lead design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards, delivering actionable insights for business stakeholders.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on BI experience with Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, along with expertise in SSAS/SSRS/SSIS, data modeling, and DAX calculations. Excellent collaboration and data governance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
• Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
• Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
• Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
• Optimize dashboard and query performance to efficiently handle large and multiple datasets, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design impactful visualizations, leveraging Power BI product capabilities for enhanced user experience
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, deliver tailored analytics solutions, and ensure high-quality client outputs
