Job summary

Weekday is seeking a mid-senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards. You will build and optimize Analysis Services models, connect to diverse data sources, and implement advanced DAX calculations to enhance reporting accuracy.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, and PowerApps, with BI project exposure. A strong data modeling background and proficiency in SSAS/SSRS/SSIS are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• 2. Build and optimize Analysis Services reporting models, ensuring compatibility with data warehouse standards and supporting both tabular and multidimensional models
• 3. Connect to diverse data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence, and implement advanced calculations using DAX to enhance reporting accuracy
• 4. Architect reporting solutions based on client requirements, translating wireframes and requirement documents into scalable analytics solutions
• 5. Implement and manage row-level security, integrating analytics with data governance, quality, and security platforms to ensure compliance and data protection
