About the Role
We're looking for someone to own and grow the social presence of postgraduate programmes at Masters' Union.
This is a hands-on, creator-first role for someone who can independently ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content that captures postgraduate life at Masters' Union. You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent stream of engaging content across the Life at MU page while also driving visibility for postgraduate programmes across Master's Union's primary social media channels.
You'll work closely with students, programme teams, student experience teams, and the central marketing team to create content around campus life, events and competitions, student achievements, startup stories, placements, guest sessions, admissions campaigns, programme launches, and other key postgraduate initiatives across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other brand platforms.
This is not a "sit behind a desk and schedule posts" role. We're looking for someone who is proactive, comfortable on camera, deeply plugged into internet culture, and excited about capturing campus energy in real time. If the page is quiet, that is on you - and you will have the autonomy to fix it.

- Building and maintaining a strong content pipeline for Life at MU and postgraduate programme visibility
- Creating platform-specific short-form content from long-form videos, events, and existing assets
- Ensuring postgraduate programmes maintain strong visibility across Master's Union's primary social media channels
- Coordinating with programme, marketing, and student teams to identify announcements, events, launches, deadlines, and achievements worth amplifying
- Driving visibility for admissions campaigns, online classes, startup launches, competitions, placements, and student stories
- Working with internal designers and marketers to execute content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
- Ensuring campaign deliverables and programme announcements are executed accurately and on time
- Identifying and collaborating with student creators, photographers, vloggers, and campus communities
- Driving co-created content, repost opportunities, student takeovers, and creator-led storytelling
- Staying plugged into student culture, trends, and campus conversations
- Maintaining content calendars, publishing schedules, and visibility trackers
- Coordinating with designers, editors, agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Tracking content performance and sharing monthly insights and recommendations
- Maintaining strong documentation, meeting notes, and operational follow-through.

- Ability to manage multiple moving pieces without losing attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
- A personal creator page or social media page of their own
- A deep understanding of youth and campus culture
- Experience working in a startup, creator-led, or fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multi-platform content visibility and campaign coordination
