Samyutha Info Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking an Associate Cloud Administrator (Fresher) to support multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role provides hands-on exposure to cloud operations, networking, security, monitoring, backup, and automation under senior engineers.

You will assist in migrations, cost optimization, and IaC practices while learning across compute, storage, and security domains.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Familiarity with compute, storage, and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Follow cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Support connectivity between on-premises and cloud.
• Assist with IAM basics and least-privilege access.
• Enable logging, monitoring, and security alerts.
• Assist in cloud migrations and DR activities.
• Monitor cloud resources for availability and cost.
• Contribute to IaC automation with Terraform/AWS CloudFormation/GCP Deployment Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Cloud Administrator (Fresher) to assist in managing and supporting multi-cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role provides hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure operations, networking, security, monitoring, backup, cost optimization, automation, and cloud migrations, under the guidance of senior cloud engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources including:
• Cloud storage services (EBS, Azure Disks, S3, Blob Storage, GCS - basics)
• Follow defined cloud architecture standards and best practices
• VPC (AWS / GCP) and VNet (Azure)
• Subnets, route tables, gateways, and basic firewall rules
• Support connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms
• Assist in troubleshooting basic cloud networking issues
• Assist with Identity and Access Management (IAM):
• AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, and GCP IAM (basic roles and policies)
• Support implementation of least-privilege access
• Assist in enabling logging, monitoring, and security alerts
• Follow security and compliance guidelines
• Assist in cloud migration activities, including:
• On-premises to cloud migrations
• Cross-cloud or cross-region migrations
• Support migration of:
• Virtual machines and compute workloads
• Storage and data (file systems, object storage)
• Basic application components
• Assist in pre-migration assessments and post-migration validation
• Participate in testing, cutover, and rollback activities
• Assist in configuring and monitoring cloud-native backup solutions
• Verify backup success and report failures
• Participate in restore testing and disaster recovery drills
• Learn cross-region and multi-cloud DR strategies
• Monitor cloud resources for availability, performance, and health
• Assist in reviewing cloud usage and cost reports
• Identify unused or underutilized resources
• Support basic cost optimization initiatives
• Assist in executing automation scripts and templates
• Learn Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts:
• Terraform
• AWS CloudFormation
• GCP Deployment Manager
• Support automation of repetitive cloud operations under guidance
• Provide L1 cloud support for non-production and production environments
• Respond to alerts and incidents and escalates when required
• Assist in incident resolution and post-incident documentation
• Maintain cloud documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
• Collaborate with system, network, database, DevOps, and security teams
• Participate in cloud projects, upgrades, and migration initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Knowledge of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Familiarity with compute, storage, and networking concepts

Operating Systems

• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows
• Familiarity with logs and basic troubleshooting

Networking Basics

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Awareness of firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs

Soft Skills

• Strong willingness to learn cloud and migration technologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field(B.Tech,MCA,Msc)
