Job summary

Quantiphi Analytics Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced API/Integration Engineer to architect and implement high-throughput API proxies on GCP Apigee. You will define security models, manage multi-tenant APIs, and optimize developer portals for scalable adoption.

You will lead enterprise API lifecycle activities, implement OAuth and encryption across services, and diagnose complex latency and routing issues within multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on API management and integration experience.
• Expert-level mastery of GCP Apigee (Apigee X / Apigee Edge) including proxy execution and runtime administration.
• Deep knowledge of API lifecycle management, OpenAPI specs, rate limiting and caching strategies.
• Advanced expertise in API security architectures (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, MTLS, WAF, SAML).

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and develop high-throughput API proxies, policies, and target server integrations on GCP Apigee.
• Implement robust, enterprise-grade security policies and OAuth flows across exposed APIs.
• Design and maintain the developer portal, API productization, and access management strategy.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex API latency, routing, and high-load production issues across multi-cloud backends.
• Define standard API execution patterns and reusable policy templates for enterprise teams.
• Monitor API traffic and performance metrics using Apigee Analytics and Cloud Logging.

Requirements

7+ years of dedicated, continuous hands‑on experience in API Management, Enterprise Integration, and Middleware Engineering.

Expert-level, hands‑on mastery of GCP Apigee (Apigee X / Apigee Edge), including proxy execution, custom policy creation, and runtime administration.

Deep knowledge of enterprise API lifecycle management, OpenAPI (Swagger) specs, rate limiting, traffic management, and caching strategies.

Advanced expertise in API security architectures (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Mutual TLS, Web Application Firewalls, SAML).

Strong hands‑on coding proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java for custom Apigee extensions and callouts.

Proven experience managing enterprise Developer Portals, API gateways, and multi‑tenant API governance frameworks.

Strictly a dedicated API/Integration background (uninterrupted career trajectory in API management and integration).

Responsibilities
