Job summary

Sidglobal is seeking an experienced Apigee Architect to design, govern, and manage enterprise API platforms using Apigee Hybrid and Apigee Edge. The role entails end-to-end ownership of API architecture, security, and platform operations within a banking environment.

You will design and manage Apigee Hybrid & Edge platforms, define API standards, and guide development teams on API design and integrations while ensuring security, compliance, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing API proxies and managing API standards.
• Hands-on security policy implementation including OAuth 2.0/JWT/mTLS.
• Governance and lifecycle management of APIs across platforms.

We are hiring an Apigee Architect to design, govern, and manage enterprise API platforms using Apigee Hybrid and Apigee Edge. The role involves end-to-end ownership of API architecture, security, and platform operations in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Apigee Hybrid & Edge platforms
  
• Define API standards: proxy design, versioning, security policies
  
• Guide development teams on API design and integrations
  
• Ensure API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS) and compliance
  
• Drive platform scalability, performance, and high availability
  
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and handle incident management
  
• Enable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  
• Act as technical SPOC for client and internal teams
  

Required Skills

• Expertise in API Proxy, Policies, Shared Flows, Traffic Management
  
• Hands-on with API Security (OAuth, JWT, mTLS)
  
• Experience in API governance and lifecycle management
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform)
  
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Dynatrace / Prometheus / Grafana)
