Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an API developer to design, build, and maintain APIs using Apigee Edge/X. The role focuses on creating API proxies, enforcing security, and enabling scalable API programs.

You'll work with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure robust API performance, versioning, and lifecycle practices, while supporting CI/CD deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of API development experience.
• 3+ years hands-on with Apigee Edge/X.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods and status codes.
• Experience with API security including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Node.js for Apigee policies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub/GitLab.

Responsibilities
