Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a senior API engineer to design, build and manage secure APIs on Apigee X/Edge. You will develop reusable proxies and shared flows, migrate legacy integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade API initiatives with high performance and reliability.

Leading candidates will have 6+ years in API management, including 2+ years hands-on Apigee experience, and strong skills in OAuth 2.0/JWT security, API design, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in API management, with at least 3+ years in API management
• 2+ years hands-on Apigee experience
• Experience designing, building and managing API proxies and shared flows
• Experience with securing APIs (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys) and API governance
• Experience with deployment pipelines and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable API solutions on Google Apigee (X / Edge)
