Job summary

California Burrito is hiring for a procurement role in Chennai to manage end-to-end purchasing for restaurants, coordinate with the operations team, place POs, and follow up with vendors and finance. The position requires ensuring accurate GRN records and timely indent processing while maintaining smooth supplier interactions.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed with Excel and capable of working in a fast-paced, restaurant-focused supply chain environment in India.

Responsibilities

• Purchase of daily needs for restaurants
• Coordinating with operations team to carry out supply process smoothly
• Placing of Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors for delivery
• Follow up with finance for any pending payments
• Monitoring the placing of indents daily within cut off time
• Keeping records for late indent, GRN missing, wrong GRN
• Checking the GRN for the past Purchase Orders
• Informing stores for any kind of GRN missing, late indent and short supplies
• Placing Purchase Order after carefully checking the indent

ABOUT THE POSITION

This role will support end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound, storage,and dispatch processes in line with company standards. The roleinvolves managing inventory accuracy, vendor coordination, and compliance with hygiene and safety norms.
