Job summary

California Burrito in Bengaluru is seeking a supply chain professional to manage purchase and supply chain for our network of restaurants, focusing on warehouse operations, SOPs, and FIFO compliance.

You will lead a warehouse team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely POs via ERP, aiming for cost efficiency and strict adherence to food-safety standards.

This role demands a self-starting attitude, team collaboration, and experience with multi-location distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchase and supply chain for multi-location restaurant operations.
• Hands-on warehouse team management experience.
• Knowledge of FIFO practices.
• Knowledge of food safety and compliance.
• Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Material & Warehouse Management: track and improve metrics; transfer stocks between stores; manage stock-outs and fill rates; monitor vendor service and stock-holding days; ensure on-time deliveries.
• Create and process accurate and timely POs for consumables and assets via ERP.
• Lead and manage warehouse team performance, including training and adherence to processes.
• Enforce SOPs and develop new SOPs where required.
• Ensure strict FIFO in storage and dispatches.
• Cost Reduction: manage vendor contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
• Follow-ups: coordinate with Finance on vendor payments.

Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Material & Warehouse Management:
   1. Track & improve key metrics:
      • Transfer of stocks between stores
      • Stock outs & fill rates
      • Vendor service levels & fill rate %
      • Stock-holding days at outlets & warehouses
      • On time deliveries at store within time-windows
   2. Ensure accurate & timely POs for consumable and assets through ERP
   3. Lead and manage warehouse team performance, including training and adherence to processes
   4. Enforce 100% compliance with existing SOPs and develop new SOPs where required
   5. Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) in storage and dispatches
2. Cost Reduction:
   1. Manage vendor contracts and ensure best‑in‑industry pricing
   2. Lead negotiations with vendors
3. Follow‑ups:
   1. Co-ordinate with the Finance team on the vendor payments
