Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and team management abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch operations and monitor delivery performance.
• Monitor driver schedules, route planning, and load assignments for on-time delivery.
• Track shipments, address exceptions or delays, and escalate as needed.
• Handle escalations from customers, drivers, or internal teams with timely resolution.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities, performance metrics, and compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service for smooth operations.
• Train and mentor dispatch staff on procedures, systems, and best practices.
• Prepare reports on KPIs such as on-time delivery and route efficiency.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

6. Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams for smooth operations.

7. Train and mentor dispatch staff on procedures, systems, and best practices.

8. Support in preparing reports on KPIs such as on-time delivery, route efficiency, and customer

satisfaction.

9. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

10. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

2. 5–7 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation; 1–2 years in a supervisory role

preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, andMS Excel.

4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

5. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
