Job summary

TajSATS in India seeks a Transit Fleet & Transport Supervisor to coordinate daily transport operations and flight catering deliveries, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise drivers, manage fleet deployments, monitor OTP, oversee maintenance, and optimize fuel use and transport costs. A relevant engineering/logistics degree with 5-10 years of fleet/aviation experience is expected; airside knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in transport, fleet, logistics, or aviation operations.
• Prior supervisory experience in fleet or transport management preferred.
• Knowledge of airside operations and aviation catering will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport operations and flight catering deliveries.
• Manage deployment of high-lift trucks, refrigerated vans, and other fleet vehicles.
• Monitor On-Time Performance (OTP) and address operational delays.
• Supervise drivers and transport staff, ensuring compliance with safety and airport regulations.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to maximize fleet availability.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and transport costs.
• Ensure compliance with BCAS, airport, and airside safety requirements.
• Maintain driver licenses, ADPs, permits, and operational records.
• Liaise with airline representatives, airport authorities, and ground handling teams.
• Monitor GPS tracking systems and ensure vehicle movement control.
• Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
