Job summary

Della Resorts and Adventure is seeking an experienced Assistant Training Manager in Pune to support Learning & Development. You will coordinate and deliver training programs, ensure effective onboarding of new employees, and support continuous learning across departments.

The role requires hands-on training delivery, strong communication, and the ability to work with HODs to address training gaps. Travel is NA, with reporting to the Training Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management
• Experience in Training & Development
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting training programs for associates across departments.
• Conduct new-joiner induction and orientation programs.
• Coordinate departmental training requirements with HODs and managers.
• Identify training needs and assist in preparing Training Need Analysis (TNA).
• Conduct sessions on hospitality standards, guest service, grooming, communication, SOPs, and workplace behaviour.
• Monitor and maintain training attendance, training calendars, records, and MIS.
• Coordinate on-the-job training and departmental skill development programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and assessments.
• Support the implementation of L&D initiatives, employee engagement activities, and development programs.
• Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, handouts, and assessments.
• Ensure training documentation and records are maintained accurately.
• Work closely with HR and departmental HODs to address identified training gaps.
• Support internal trainers and subject-matter experts in conducting departmental training.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company training standards and SOPs.
