Job summary

Cvent is seeking an ATL, Sales Planning in the Global Sales Operations team to partner with stakeholders, support inbound requests, and resolve contract errors. You will drive data accuracy, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve sales efficiency.

You will own quota allocation, management of global sales commissions, and forecasting frameworks, building automated reporting that delivers clear insights for Sales and Leadership.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in a customer-driven or operational role.
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress clearly.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Slack and MS Excel; proficient with MS Office.
  • Good understanding of sales systems and processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to resolve errors, issues and process gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quota allocation exercises by owning data accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and final deliverables to drive alignment with sales strategies and business objectives
  • Own and oversee the execution of global sales commission and crediting processes with full accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, while resolving escalations and acting as SME for commission-related queries
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Tech teams to lead GTM planning activities and ensure seamless day-to-day operational execution
  • Independently manage projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, including end-to-end ownership of automation initiatives and maintaining data integrity across systems
  • Drive collaboration with the Analytics/PMO team by designing, owning, and implementing automation solutions for reporting and operational workflows
  • Own the build and maintenance of sales forecasting frameworks and reporting templates that surface meaningful, actionable performance insights for Sales and Leadership
  • Lead ad-hoc and recurring analyses, translating complex data into clear narratives that support strategic decision-making across Sales and Leadership teams
  • Own and enforce process documentation standards on internal platforms to ensure accuracy, scalability, and long-term continuity across the team
  • Manage rep and stakeholder queries with professionalism and urgency while overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams, proactively communicating risks and blockers to senior leadership
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and work quality oversight to Associate-level team members, supporting their development and ensuring consistency in team output

Job description

We are seeking an ATL, Sales Planning under the Global Sales Operations department. This role will require someone who can partner with various stakeholders to represent Sales and collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects. As an ATL, Sales Planning, you will support Sales on inbound requests as well as the resolution of contract errors. What you will be doing:

What you will need for this role:
  • 4-7 years of experience in a customer-driven or operational role – not exclusive to Sales
  • Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner
  • Experience in Salesforce, Slack & MS Excel; proficient in other Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Good understanding of Sales systems and processes
  • Effective communication (i.e., written, verbal and presentation)
  • Self-motivated and strong drive to learn how to resolve errors, issues and process gaps
  • Familiarity with an "Order to Cash" process or something similar is preferred
  • Ability to navigate the organization and establish relationships with key contacts to solve problems and formulate processes
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to senior leadership, including building consensus, navigating conflicts and challenging the status quo
  • Good project management skills to drive project execution and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and respond to rep queries while meeting deadlines
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
