Job summary

Topline Group is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to help lead branch operations. You will support the branch manager, guide the sales team, manage local trade relationships, and oversee daily sales reporting.

The role requires mobility to visit construction sites and trade clients, strong Excel skills to analyze margins and inventory, and leadership to train staff and meet targets. A valid driving license is essential.

Qualifications

Core Responsibilities

• Field & Store Mobility: Ride or drive to active construction sites and local trade clients to secure bulk hardware orders and maintain relationships.
• Data & Inventory Management: Utilize Excel to analyze daily sales margins, track stock levels across the store and yard, and report findings to management.
• Team Leadership: Train frontline sales staff on product knowledge, monitor daily sales targets, and assist with staff scheduling.

Preferred candidate profile

• Valid Driving License: Must possess a clean, valid driving license.
• Vehicle Versatility: Confident and capable of driving both 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers for field sales, site visits, or stock transport.
• Excellent Communication: Fluent and polished verbal and written communication skills to negotiate with trade professionals and lead internal staff.
• Excel Proficiency: Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel for compiling sales data, tracking inventory logs, and creating weekly performance reports.
