WOW! momo is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support day-to-day restaurant operations and drive sales while ensuring top-quality guest experiences. You will lead and coach the team, manage shifts, monitor KPIs, and uphold food safety and service standards in our Indore location.

The role requires 2–4 years in restaurant operations, a graduate qualification, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. Rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Job Purpose

To support the Restaurant Manager in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, maintaining food quality and safety standards, driving sales and profitability, and developing a motivated team that consistently delivers WOW! service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Restaurant Operations

• Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth functioning across all shifts.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational checklists, and company policies.
• Monitor opening and closing activities, equipment functionality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant readiness.
• Ensure timely order preparation, accurate billing, and efficient order delivery.

2. Sales & Business Performance

• Drive daily sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as average order value, customer footfall, order accuracy, and sales growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve upselling, cross-selling, and customer conversions.
• Support cost control initiatives and improve restaurant profitability.

3. People Management & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate Team Members and Shift Managers.
• Ensure adequate manpower availability and effective shift scheduling.
• Drive employee engagement, attendance, discipline, and retention.
• Train team members on product knowledge, customer service, food preparation, and operational standards.
• Identify high-potential employees and support their career growth through on-the-job training and development.

4. Customer Experience

• Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
• Maintain service speed, product consistency, and order accuracy.
• Build customer loyalty through friendly, efficient, and professional service.

5. Food Safety & Quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Monitor product quality, portion control, freshness, and adherence to recipes.
• Ensure proper storage, stock rotation, and expiry-date monitoring.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic restaurant environment.

6. Inventory & Cost Management

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Minimize food wastage, pilferage, and operational losses.
• Conduct stock counts and support inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor consumption, food cost, packaging cost, and other controllable expenses.

7. Cash Management & Compliance

• Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, POS operations, and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Maintain operational records, registers, and reports as required.
• Follow company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
• Ensure proper handling of cash, inventory, and other company assets.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Graduate preferred; candidates with relevant qualifications and QSR experience may also be considered.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in QSR, food service, or retail operations.
• Prior experience in team handling, shift management, customer service, and sales performance is preferred.
