Job summary

Mechmaark Equipments in Haryana is seeking a procurement professional to manage raw materials, suppliers, and POs, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery for manufacturing and related industries.

You will monitor inventory, negotiate with vendors, prepare reports, coordinate with stores and accounts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. Immediate joiner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, consumables, and other required items as per company requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production departments to avoid stock shortages.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain vendor performance records and conduct periodic evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyze market trends and sourcing opportunities to optimize procurement costs.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Prepare procurement reports, MIS reports, and purchase-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
