Gios India is seeking an Assistant Manager Proposal Engineer (Sheet Metal Fabrication) in Chennai. The role requires 10+ years in proposal, estimation, sales support and leadership, with BE in Mechanical and optional MBA.

You will drive design and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include KPI-driven quoting, after-sales support, and leading regional teams to align with strategic growth plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Proposal, Estimation, Sales Support & Leadership
• BE (Mechanical) + MBA (optional) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Overseeing compliance to Quality, Environment, Safety & Health Management System requirements.
• Achieve global standards based on R&D guidelines.
• Develop and design products under customer specifications, cost and profitability targets.
• Quote to market within given timeframe (KPI).
• Provide after sales support and technical backup as required.
• Develop business growth according to strategic plan.
• Develop global organization to implement design standards.
• Optimize product design for cost efficiency.
• Arrange and carry out product training.
• Take over strategic sales/operations/service projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing compliance to Quality, Environment, Safety & Health Management System requirements.

• Quote to market within given timeframe (KPI)
• After Sales Support Service and Provide technical back up as required
• Develop business growth according to strategic plan
• Develop global organization to implement design standards
• Develop products according customer specification
• Optimize product design to get most cost-efficient design
• Arrange and carry out product training
• Take over strategic sales/operations/service projects.
