Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; diploma considered with relevant experience.
- 38 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, project execution, or related fields.
- Experience with international customers and suppliers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Review drawings and technical requirements; coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and supplier teams.
- Support procurement, supplier management, and lead-time tracking.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely deliverables and action closure.
- Travel within India and internationally for meetings, audits, and trade shows.

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Engineer to join our team as an Executive Engineer.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wishes to develop beyond a traditional engineering role and gain exposure to business operations, customer management, international trade, procurement, project execution, manufacturing, and strategic business development.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director and act as an extension of company management, representing the organization in interactions with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
This role requires a combination of technical understanding, commercial awareness, leadership potential, and excellent communication skills.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for customers and business partners.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and commercial reviews.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally to ensure timely responses.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, proposals, and purchase orders.
- Prepare meeting minutes and ensure action items are executed.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, RFQs, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
- Support development and execution of industrial, manufacturing, automation, battery, machining, and assembly projects.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Support quality audits and customer inspections.
- Assist management in day-to-day business operations.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and quality departments.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of commitments.
- Track critical deliverables and maintain project status updates.
- Drive closure of action items and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
- Source components, materials, and services from domestic and international suppliers.
- Obtain quotations and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding lead times, quality requirements, and deliveries.
- Manage supplier relationships and support supplier development activities.
- Participate in supplier audits and performance reviews.
Prepare and manage export and import documentation including:
- Proforma Invoices
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Purchase Orders
- Shipping Documentation
- Certificate of Origin documentation
- Freight and logistics documentation
- Customs-related documentation
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and international suppliers.
Ensure compliance with applicable export and import regulations.
- Support preparation of quotations, proposals, cost estimates, and commercial offers.
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
- Assist in customer acquisition and business development activities.
- Support participation in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
- Help develop strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers.
Travel within India and internationally for:
- Customer meetings
- Supplier visits
- Technical discussions
- Factory audits
- Trade exhibitions
- Project execution activities
Represent the company professionally during all external interactions.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered
38 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, project execution, technical sales, business operations, procurement, or industrial projects.
Experience working with international customers and suppliers is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, assembly, and industrial products.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing environments.
