Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Project Planning & Execution professional in Mumbai to coordinate pipeline routing, plan/execute sites, and manage HIRA, WAH permits, COP/HSE adherence, and commissioning with the team.

Responsibilities include MIS reporting, contract handling, liaison with authorities, and ensuring quality standards across domestic, commercial, and industrial connections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review HIRA for MP, LP, GI, LMC activity for each site daily.
• Inspect and carry out WAH activity by issuing WAH permits for each riser on site.
• Plan and execute all sites per COP and HSE guidelines.
• Test and commission MP/LP laid network regularly.
• Commissioning of I&C customers.
• MJC printing with unique meter.
• Allocate MJC to respective TAB.
• Approve converted MJC through module after checks.
• Process material consumption of approved MJCs in SAP.
• Check/certify material consumption of GI/LP/MP/I&C reports.
• Organize contractor Safety Forum monthly and customer awareness sessions quarterly.
• Review and resolve customer complaints regularly.
• Prepare and provide MIS data (CWIP, DPR, daily work plan, CPE).
• Prepare, check and certify contractor bills monthly.
• Material reconciliation.
• Finalizing tender quantities.
• Coach, mentor and supervise project team and contractors.
• Contract closure.
• Liaison with statutory authorities for permissions/NOC.
• Liaison with housing societies, builders, industrial & commercial customers.

Job description

Project planning & Execution.

• Coordinate with planning department for feasible & economical route planning and designing, sizing of pipeline for demand load of all domestic, commercial and Industrial connections.
• Execution of medium & low-pressure polyethylene pipeline laying as per MGL code of practice from DRS to Domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
• Doing Regular survey and review of Area potential/ Front for execution as per budget requirement and coordinate with Marketing department to maximize output.
• Project Planning, Tracking and Adhering Project target schedules by optimizing resource management tools from Planning to Commissioning.
• Effectively utilizes each team member (TPE & Contractor Staff) to his fullest potential & Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner to attain goals.
• Prepare and Provide regular status of Project Area to Management, through MIS data, Project Review meetings etc.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to management.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Prepare and Review HIRA for MP, LP, GI, LMC activity for each site on daily basis.

Office Documentation:

For every domestic conversion AIC responsible/performs following activities:

• MJC printing with unique meter
• Allocate MJC to respective TAB
• Approve converted customers MJC through module by checking with all parameters.
• Process material consumption of approved MJCs in SAP and update Task for each activity.

• Check/Certify and process material consumption of GI/LP/MP/I&C reports on regular basis.
• Organized contractor Safety Forum on monthly and Customer awareness session on quarterly. Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members
• Review and resolve customer complaints regularly.
• Prepare and Provide MIS data, i.e CWIP, DPR, daily work plan, CPE, etc.
• Prepare, check and certify contractors bill on monthly basis.
• Material reconciliation.

Contract management

• Finalizing tender quantities
• Coach, Mentor, Motivate and supervise project team members and contractor Staff and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Contract Closure.

Liaisoning

• Liaisoning with various statutory authorities e.g. Municipal corporation. Fire brigade, Traffic police to obtain permission /NOC for pipeline laying.
• Liaisoning with co-operating housing society, builders, industrial & commercial customers for permissions related to project activities.

Quality Control/HSS&E

• Monitoring adherence to quality systems and comply with quality standards and maintaining requisite documents.
• Arrange various site visit & audits at site.
