Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune is seeking an Assistant Manager Production for Gravity Die Casting to lead shift operations at the Chakan manufacturing site. You will manage manpower across three shifts and ensure daily output aligns with planning, while safeguarding operator safety, quality, and delivery metrics.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7–10 years of relevant gravity die casting experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years experience in Gravity Die Casting foundry or Low Pressure Die Casting.

Responsibilities

• Handle shift manpower across all three shifts.
• Ensure daily production output vs plan.
• Oversee operator safety, quality, OEE, and delivery.
• Monitor daily/weekly fill rate and customer complaints.
• Drive improvements in conversion cost and material cost.
• Drive 5S improvements in the plant.
• Implement TPM.

1.Job Objective :-

Assistant Manager production- Gravity die casting

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-

• 1. Responsible for handling shift Manpower in all three shifts.


• 2. Responsible for Daily production output in respective shift plan Vs Actual.


• 3. Responsible for Operator safety, Quality (Rejection & PDI), OEE, Delivery.


• 4. Responsible for daily and weekly fill rate, customer complaint.


• 5. Responsible for improvement in Conversion Cost & Material cost.


• 6. Responsible for plant 5S improvement.


• 7. Responsible for TPM implementation.

3.Qualification & Experience Required :-

Diploma Mechanical Engineer
Minimum 7-10 years experience in Gravity Die casting foundry or Low pressure die casting.
