Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) is seeking a senior Visual Merchandiser to develop and implement VM guidelines across showrooms, shop-in-shops, and exhibitions. You will ensure displays align with brand guidelines, launches, and seasonal campaigns, and design captivating jewellery displays that elevate key collections.

The role requires 5–8 years of VM experience in luxury jewellery or lifestyle retail, with strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Fashion Communication, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in Jewellery/Luxury/Lifestyle retail.
• Proven expertise in handling large-format showrooms and premium customer-facing spaces.

Job description

• Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines for showrooms, shop-in-shops, and exhibitions.
• Ensure alignment of VM displays with brand guidelines, product launches, and festive/seasonal campaigns.
• Design and execute attractive jewellery displays, window dcor, and in-store ambience that highlight key collections.
• Optimize product presentation to drive footfall, customer engagement, and sales.
• Maintain brand identity across all retail touchpoints.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure adherence to VM standards and provide corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Retail, and Design teams to roll out new collection launches, promotional campaigns, and festive themes.
• Oversee execution of seasonal themes, festivals, weddings, and high-value customer events.
• Liaise with creative agencies, printers, prop vendors, and fabricators for display material production.
• Manage timelines and budgets for VM projects.
• Train retail staff on basic VM principles, display upkeep, and brand presentation.
• Develop VM manuals for reference across stores.
• Stay updated on global jewellery/luxury retail VM trends.
• Innovate with lighting, materials, and digital integrations to enhance customer experience.
• Strong creativity and eye for detail in luxury retail/jewellery segment.
• Knowledge of jewellery display techniques, lighting, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design software (CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp preferred).
• Strong project management, vendor coordination, and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Fashion Communication, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in Jewellery / Luxury / Lifestyle retail.
