Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) seeks a skilled Visual Merchandiser to develop and implement premium VM guidelines across showrooms and shop-in-shops.

You will align displays with brand launches, festive campaigns, and seasonal themes while designing captivating jewellery displays and window décor. Collaboration with Marketing, Retail, and Design teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Visual Merchandising or related field.
• Experience in luxury jewellery or lifestyle retail preferred.
• Strong understanding of brand-aligned merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising guidelines for showrooms, shop-in-shops, and exhibitions.
• Align VM displays with brand guidelines, product launches, and festive campaigns.
• Design jewellery displays, window décor, and in-store ambience to highlight collections.
• Optimize product presentation to drive footfall, customer engagement, and sales.
• Maintain brand identity across all retail touchpoints.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure VM standards and provide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Retail, and Design teams to roll out new launches and campaigns.
• Oversee seasonal themes, festivals, weddings, and high-value customer events.
• Liaise with agencies, printers, prop vendors, and fabricators for display production.
• Manage timelines and budgets for VM projects.
• Train retail staff on basic VM principles and brand presentation.
• Develop VM manuals for reference across stores.
• Stay updated on global jewellery/luxury retail VM trends.
• Innovate with lighting, materials, and digital integrations to enhance customer experience.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong creativity and eye for detail in luxury retail/jewellery segment.
• Knowledge of jewellery display techniques, lighting, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design software (CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp preferred).
• Strong project management, vendor coordination, and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Fashion Communication, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in Jewellery / Luxury / Lifestyle retail.
• Proven expertise in handling large-format showrooms and premium customer-facing spaces.
