Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned engineering professional to lead a team of Supervisors in vehicle validation and development. You will plan durability and performance testing, coordinate with design engineers, and ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.

The role requires 6-8 years of experience and a BE/B.Tech in Electrical, with a focus on delivering reliable tests, accurate data, and continuous improvement across processes and tests.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in automotive validation and development.
• Exposure to durability and performance testing within project plans.
• Knowledge of quality systems and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supervisors to achieve testing milestones.
• Validate durability and performance of vehicles per project plan.
• Plan and execute testing, including field and supplier inspections.
• Record, manage and report test data and results.
• Interact with design engineers to plan development and validation tests.
• Incorporate process improvements per ISO/TS, QS, OHSAS, 5S standards.
• Prepare DFMEA, DVP, and test reports as required.
• Manage budgets and drive team performance to targets.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• To lead a team of Supervisors
• Validation of durability & performance vehicles
• Planning & tesing of vehicles as per project plan
• Simulate customer end failure & field failure in testing
• To witness testing at outside agencies / Supplier
• To generate reports and give feedback.
• To record and maintain test data
• To interact with design engineers and plan necessary development and validation tests
• To incorporate process improvements based on national / international standards and practices, follow Quality systems such as ISO/TS, QS, OHSAS, 5S, etc.
• Measure wear & tear components life & establish useful life of various components
• Prepare / verify DVP / DFMEA / Test reports as per project requirements
• Creat / manage test data / test procedures / SOP
• Team management to meet desired results & targets
• Budget preparations for projects
