Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager- TCF S Block to lead daily manufacturing targets and drive shop floor excellence in our automotive plant in India. You will manage priorities, ensure adherence to production schedules, and collaborate with PPC, Paintshop, BIW, and PQA to resolve issues and sustain performance.

The role emphasizes process audits, adherence to QMS, 5S and safety, along with coaching on MQW/MQS/MAPS guidelines and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (BE/BTech/ Diploma) in engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily work management to monitor manufacturing targets.
• Monitor BWT performance w.r.t PQCDSM and seek improvements.
• Ensure timely actions for customer concerns and sustainment.
• Adherence to production schedule (Daily/Monthly).
• Adherence to training plan and skill upgrade.
• Conduct process audits and close non-conformities.
• Understand MQW, MQS & MAPS and implement guidelines.
• Adhere to Quality Management systems, WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS.
• Identify scope for continual improvement in WSS, JH & 5S; maintain safety.
• Shop Floor Management.
• Timely disposal of non-conforming products & scrap.
• Compliance of safety guidelines in the shopfloor.
• Strong relationship with PPC, Paintshop, BIW, PQA teams.
• Collaborative approach across other PU.

• Daily Work Management- Monitor the set manufacturing targets on a day to day basis effectively by managing priorities
• Monitor BWT's performance w.r.t. PQCDSM and seek out better ways of improving Basic Work Team performance
• Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance of the same
• Adherence to production schedule (Daily/Monthly)
• Adherence to training plan as per matrix and improve/upgrade skill level
• Conduct various process audits and closure of Non Compliance's
• Understand MQW , MQS & MAPS and demonstrate execution of their guidelines
• Responsible for adhering to Quality Management systems, WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS
• Identify scope for continual improvemet in WSS, JH & 5S along with maintaining safety at work
• Shop Floor Management
• Timely disposal of non confirming products & scrap
