Job summary

Sika AG in Bengaluru, India seeks a technically skilled professional to drive product approvals and support customers such as ready-mix producers, contractors and precast plants.

You will conduct laboratory tests on concrete, aggregates and cement, develop mix designs per customer requirements, provide on-site technical support and product demonstrations, and collaborate with the sales team to convert trials into orders.

Qualifications

• Experience approving admixtures for ready-mix producers and contractors.
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs and admixture formulations.
• Ability to conduct laboratory tests on concrete, aggregates and cement.

About the RoleOverviewTo obtain the most suitable Sika admixture approved with Sika customers, such as ready-mix concrete producers, contractors, precast producers etc. In case, standard admixtures do not meet the customer requirements, suggest suitable modifications in the concrete mix design or as a last option do modifications in the admixture formulation to meet the concrete requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduct approval of new & existing customers leading to sales growthUnderstand and align product development as per customer requirementMix designs as per customer requirements.Conduct Laboratory testing relating to Concrete, Aggregates, and Cement.Record, analyse, certify and prepare summaries of findings and maintain records of the results.Troubleshoot to determine reasons for problems of complaints.Provide technical support to customers /contractors on site.Engage into Product demonstration & testingProvide support to Sales team to conduct trials at site.Stay abreast of market trends as well as changes in market and competitive landscape and initiate necessary actionsWhy Join UsWe offer competitive salaries, aligned with local market benchmarks and the specific scope and responsibilities of each role.
