Job summary

Sika is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5–8 years’ experience to drive sales and technical support for concrete admixtures in Gandhidham and surrounding markets. The role involves coordinating with ready-mix producers, contractors, and precast yards to secure approvals and optimize mix designs.

You will build strong customer relationships, analyze market potential, prepare regular sales reports, and ensure profitable growth in line with budgets, while applying Sika’s know-how and product portfolio.

Qualifications

• BE Civil or Diploma in Civil with 5–8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of concrete mix design is a must.
• Experience in selling construction chemicals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve targets through key customers via analyzed potential and implement agreed action plans.
• Network and build relationships; support existing and potential customers to develop concrete solutions and enable retention.
• Drive sales and collections in targeted markets to achieve above-market growth with profits in line with budget.
• Improve market and customer penetration as planned.
• Sales and marketing of Sika products to target customers in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Apply concrete know-how within the company and sales/service teams.
• Match promotional mix to market needs and support standardization of the product portfolio for best customer value.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and relevant business data.
• Maintain discipline at branch level and implement Sika's 8 rules; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Perform and supervise special tasks as required by Sika.

Job Description

Overview : Must have knowledge of concrete mix design. His/ her main responsibility is to get the most suitable Sika admixture approved with Sika customers, such as ready-mix concrete producers, contractors, precast producers etc. In case, standard admixtures do not meet the customer requirements, he/ she should be able to suggest suitable modifications in the concrete mix design or as a last option do modifications in the admixture formulation to meet the concrete requirements.

Job Description :

• To achieve the target given by the superiors through key customers and after judicious analysis of the potential to ensure that plans turn into actions through agreed qualitative & quantified actions plans.
• Networking & Relationship building - supervise & provide strong support to existing & potential customers in all aspects of developing Concrete to enable retention of customers.
• Ensure Sales /collection of payment, C-forms against sales from targeted markets to generate above market growth and that the net result after costs provides an acceptable level of profit in line with budget.
• Achieve & improve market / customer penetration as per plan.
• Assume responsibility for sales & marketing of Sika products to target customers/market as delegated by his superiors & in close co-ordination with the Sales Manager.
• Ensure application of Concrete know-how within the company and relevant sales and service organization.
• Ensure the promotional mix is matched to market needs. Help to achieve standardization of product portfolio and optimal Customer value in the most economical way.
• Take responsibility for production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, as well as relevant business data as instructed by superiors.
• Ensure & Maintain discipline at branch level by himself & colleagues. Initiate corrective actions where necessary. Ensure implementation of Sika’s 8 rules at Branch level in his day today works
• Perform & supervise any special task as per need of Sika & according to instructions from his superior

Qualifications

BE Civil / Diploma in Civil with 5 to 8 years of experience.
