Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced sheet metal process planning professional in India. The role involves planning sheet metal parts, budgeting dies, and managing stamping projects with master timelines.

Expect work across FMEA, die development, and cost optimization within automotive manufacturing. The candidate should have 10–15 years of experience in the sector and hold a BE in Mechanical or Production.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or Production degree required.
• 10–15 years of experience in sheet metal processes for automotive industry.
• Experience with die development, process planning and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Sheet metal parts process planning.
• Sheet metal dies budgeting.
• Develop stamping project plan with master timeline and critical path.
• FMEA and Operational FMEA.
• Project management of sheet metal die development.
• Simulations on CATIA, Autoform, MPDS, 3DCS and APQP.
• Investment and cost optimization for process, yield and materials.
• 3D process planning, die layout and 3D die design.
• Planning of press shop feed layout, automation and production technology.
• Panel GD&T feasibility and end-to-end quality plan including GNOVA B and C.
• Innovations and IMCR.
• Basic BIW product design, process and assembly.
• Selection of raw material and dies material.
• Sheet metal problem solving using 7 QC, G8D.
• Spring back and compensation strategy of HSS panels.
