Job summary

Normet Americas, Inc. in Uttarakhand seeks an Assistant Manager - Technical Services to provide technical support for concrete and cementitious products, conduct site trials, and optimize mix designs across project sites.

Qualifications

• Mandatory B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in concrete technology, construction chemicals, tunneling or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Hands-on site trials, batching plants, and technical service support experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Site Trials: conduct concrete and grout trials at project sites and batching plants; provide guidance on product usage; troubleshoot site issues.
• Product Development & Optimization: support admixtures and cementitious product development; optimize mix designs per project requirements; coordinate with R&D/QA teams.
• Customer & Project Coordination: interact with customers/consultants/site teams; assist sales with technical presentations/approvals; ensure timely service.
• Documentation & Reporting: prepare trial reports and performance evaluations; maintain site visit records; ensure compliance with standards.

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of this role is to provide technical support for concrete and cementitious products, conduct product trials, optimize concrete mix designs, troubleshoot site-related issues, and support business development through technical expertise and customer engagement.

Job Responsibility

Technical Support & Site Trials

• Conduct concrete and grout trials at project sites and batching plants.
• Provide technical guidance for product application and usage.
• Troubleshoot concrete-related issues at the site.

Product Development & Optimization

• Support development and improvement of concrete admixtures and cementitious products.
• Optimize mix designs based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with R&D and quality teams for product evaluation.

Customer & Project Coordination

• Interact with customers, consultants, and site teams for technical discussions.
• Support sales team in technical presentations and approvals.
• Ensure timely technical service support to ongoing projects.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, trial reports, and performance evaluations.
