Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in India is seeking an Assistant Manager - Technical to lead maintenance operations for building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing. You will guide the engineering team, plan preventive and corrective work, and ensure compliance with safety and energy-efficiency standards.

The role requires 5–8 years of facility management experience and a degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

About the Role

• Maintenance Oversight: Support planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Team Supervision: Guide and monitor engineering staff, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, safety protocols, and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Vendor Coordination: Assist in managing contractors for specialized repairs and projects, ensuring quality and timelines.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, and assist in budget tracking.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly during technical breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• HVAC systems: AHU, FCU, chillers/package units and ventilation systems.

• BMS and building automation.
• Preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
• Vendor and AMC management.
• Energy management and utility monitoring.

• Support preparation and monitoring of CAPEX/OPEX budgets for engineering requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure closure of observations and audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, permit-to-work procedures, LOTO and other safety practices.

About You
