Job description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Recruitment with strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end recruitment, particularly hardcore sourcing, candidate screening, and interviewing.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a recruitment consulting / search firm environment, where they have managed multiple mandates and job requirements for different stakeholders simultaneously. The candidate should be highly proactive, well-connected within the talent market,and capable of building and maintaining strong candidate networks.

Experience with Gems & Jewellery industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, with a strong focus on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate closure.
• Independently handle multiple recruitment mandates across different functions.
• Understand job role requirements in depth and develop effective sourcing strategies for each mandate.
• Source candidates through various channels including job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, campus, networking, market mapping, and industry contacts.
• Conduct detailed candidate screening and initial interviews to assess technical, functional, cultural, and compensation fit.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and talent network across relevant industries and functions.
• Work closely with stakeholders / hiring managers to understand requirements, provide market intelligence, and ensure timely closures.
• Manage multiple positions with different priorities and timelines while maintaining high quality of candidate submissions.
• Develop strong relationships with candidates and maintain a robust network of passive talent.
• Coordinate and monitor Background Verification (BGV) and pre-employment Medical Verification processes, ensuring timely initiation, follow-up, closure, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Coordinate with BGV and Medical vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational pre-employment requirements.
  Manage recruitment activities through ATS/HRMS platforms, including MRF creation, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, feedback management, offer generation, recruitment stage movement, onboarding, and recruitment MIS/reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of candidate and recruitment data in ATS/HRMS systems while maintaining data integrity and process compliance.
• Track and maintain recruitment metrics, pipeline movement, interview feedback, offer status, BGV/Medical status, joining updates, and closure reports.
• Stay updated on talent availability, compensation trends, competitor hiring, and industry movements.
• Mentor / guide fellow recruiters and support the team in achieving recruitment targets.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 8-10 years of relevant recruitment experience, preferably from a Recruitment Consulting / Executive Search / Staffing firm.
• Strong and proven expertise in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
• Excellent candidate identification and networking skills with the ability to reach passive candidates.
• A well-established industry network / candidate database will be a strong advantage.
• Candidates with prior experience servicing Gems & Jewellery companys will be preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership for recruitment closures.
