Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Private Limited invites a civil site engineer to oversee field construction in Varanasi. You will supervise contractors, verify setting out, reinforce safety, and coordinate with QA/QC, electrical and mechanical teams to ensure on-time handover.

This role requires BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engg with 5–10 years of experience. Daily reporting, document control, and adherence to HSE are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 10 Years.
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil), Diploma in Civil Engg. with minimum 5 Year Experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute civil works including site grading, excavation, foundations, PCC/RCC works, equipment foundations, transformer foundations, control building, cable trenches, retaining walls, roads, drainage systems, fencing, and paving works.
• Supervise contractors and monitor daily progress to ensure work is completed as per approved construction schedules.
• Verify setting out, levels, dimensions, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete quality, and finishing before and during execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for inspections, material approvals, concrete testing, and work acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and safe construction practices.
• Review construction drawings and raise RFIs for design discrepancies or site constraints.
• Monitor material consumption and coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability.
• Measure executed quantities and verify contractor bills as per actual work completed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting completed work, pending activities, and site issues.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure civil works are completed before equipment installation and commissioning.
• Participate in client, consultant, and internal project review meetings, providing updates on civil execution status.
• Prepare snag lists, ensure timely rectification of deficiencies, and complete punch-point closure before project handover.
• Maintain as-built records, site documentation, inspection reports, and handover dossiers for final project completion
