Job summary

Amara Raja Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to plan, supervise and execute all civil construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule. You will coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, MEP teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

You will review IFC drawings, resolve site issues, ensure compliance with IS codes, monitor daily progress, manage manpower, materials and machinery, and certify quantities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute all civil construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Manage execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and external development works.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure achievement of project milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Review IFC drawings, resolve site technical issues, and ensure work is executed as per approved designs.
• Ensure quality compliance through inspections, checklists, and adherence to project specifications and relevant IS Codes.
• Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with company HSE policies at site.
• Plan manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractor activities for optimum productivity.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage through effective resource management.
• Verify contractor bills, work measurements, and certify executed quantities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and update project status to management.
• Identify project risks, delays, and propose corrective actions to meet project timelines.
• Ensure timely closure of snag lists and successful handover of completed works.
• Mentor and guide site engineers and supervisors to improve execution efficiency.
