Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement for PCBA, wire harness and related components.
• Develop and maintain supplier base through identification, evaluation, development and performance monitoring.
• Handle domestic and international sourcing of components.
• Identify alternate components and suppliers to improve continuity and reduce cost.
• Review MRP requirements and initiate procurement actions.
• Float RFQs, analyse quotations, negotiate and finalize suppliers.
• Evaluate suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, technical capability and capacity.
• Manage Purchase Order process with supplier communication and approvals.
• Track supplier performance for OTD, quality and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate supplier audits and timely closure of corrective actions.
• Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, localization and alternate source development.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, PPC, Logistics and Finance.

One of our clients, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing and wire harness sector, is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager PCBA & Wire Harness to join their team at Shirwal, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for PCBA, wire harness and related components.
• Develop and maintain a strong supplier base through supplier identification, evaluation, development and performance monitoring.
• Handle both domestic and international sourcing of components.
• Identify suitable alternate components and alternate suppliers to improve supply continuity and reduce cost.
• Review MRP requirements and initiate procurement actions based on business requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 59 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement.
• Candidates with experience in Wire Harness, PCBA, EMS, Electronics Manufacturing or Automotive Components will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical and wire harness components.
• Experience in supplier development, costing, negotiation and cost reduction is essential.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and procurement processes.
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities with effective communication skills.

Education

Graduate / Diploma / Engineering qualification in Electronics and Electrical discipline will be preferred.

Diploma / MBA in Supply chain management will be added advantage.

Travel

The role may involve local supplier visits and occasional outstation travel depending on business requirements.
