Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager for Soft Services in India. You will support building operations, service contracts, and procurement; manage budgets; and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety compliance and high service levels.

The role requires 8–10 years of facilities management experience and a background in hospitality-related education. You will work with the FM team to drive cost-effective, innovative solutions on site.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in facilities management or related operations.
• Graduate in Hospitality Management and Associates in Facilities/Property/Business or related.
• Proficiency in IT tools and platforms; strong vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations and service contracts.
• Manage financials and annual operating budgets.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for goal setting and performance reviews.
• Support sourcing and site managers through procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and audits.

Job Description: Asst Facility Manager Soft Services

Overall Responsibility

• Building operations, service contracts, financial management.
• Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors, and the level of spending with Minority/Women owned Business Enterprises.
• Coordinate discussions with selected vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review.
• Support sourcing and site managers through procurement.
• Ensure compliance with operational audit and safety standards.
• Establish relationships with client site leads, business partners such as EHS leads and FM clientele to establish trust and credibility.
• Work with the Facility Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance, repair, custodial, security and other building services.
• Assist in the development and management of the annual operating budgets.
• Implement site-level innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity. Encourage team to be innovative in client service / problem solving.
• To maintain consistency and achieve 99.5% of timely AHD closure in operational area.
• Lead in participation of local JLL and Account innovation programs. Redeploy innovations learnt from other account teams. Demonstrate to Client JLL innovation effort.
• Plays an important role with dual responsibilities for communication and reporting.
• Follows all reporting protocols for all commercial, costing and billing for the FM contract.
• Responds to Client service-related reports / communication.
