Job summary

Tata Steel in India seeks a Senior Security Officer to oversee access control, gate security and QRT/ERT operations. You will supervise the crime and intelligence wing, control room activities and maintenance of security gadgets on site.

The role requires 3 years of Defence or CISF/Corporate Security experience and a graduate degree. You will coordinate with police and local administration and drive training and best practice initiatives to safeguard assets and people.

Qualifications

• Full time graduate in any discipline.
• 3 years' experience in Defence Services – Subedar/ Chief Petty Officer / Warrant Officer/Coast Guard- Adhikari/JCO
• Or 3 years' experience as subordinate Officer/Officer of CISF
• or 3 years' experience as officer in Corporate /Industrial Security

Responsibilities

• Supervision of access control.
• Supervision of material handling at the gates.
• Supervision of quick reaction team (QRT) / Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Supervision in Crime and Intelligence wing.
• Control room management including use of technical gadgets
• Maintenance and upkeep of security gadgets and equipment.
• Executive protection.
• Crisis Management
• Management of Escalation.
• Supervision and conduct of training.
• Improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
• Regular interaction with stakeholders
• Maintain good liaison with Police and local Administration.
