Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. invites an experienced security leader to oversee plant-wide security, asset protection, and incident response at its Nagpur facility.

The role requires 15+ years in security and vigilance, with a background as an Ex-Army Officer (Lt Col/Col) and a graduate degree in BSc/BCom/BA. You will manage internal and external security teams and coordinate with law enforcement, driving security automation to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in security and vigilance role.
• Ex Army Officer with Lt Colonel/Colonel rank.
• Ex BSF/CRPF with senior command roles.
• Graduate degree in BSc/BCom/BA with armed forces training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security actions and protect plant assets across units.

Job description

• Supervises, directs, and oversees security actions/duties/responsibilities throughout Plant and for units for major issues such as asset protection and recovery, labor disputes, criminal and ethical violations, workplace violence, theft, business continuity, crisis management, emergency preparedness, Product dispatches and external disturbance and others.
• Provides oversight and strategic direction to contract security providers to ensure their operations effectively and efficiently help protect Plant assets, proprietary information, employees, and visitors.
• Provides professional expertise in investigating major/complex security breaches often resulting in substantial business losses or threats to Organisational personnel, assets, or reputation.
• Conducts facility security audits in accordance with established enterprise security standards that address both physical protection best-practices and security-fire-life/safety systems.
• Develops, implements, and directs special protection measures for events, product launches/shows, and dignitary visits within his area of responsibility.
• Provides consultation and direction to units in developing and maintaining proper security standards, practices, and procedures.
• Maintains close liaison with Police and local Political leaders, private security sources and services, emergency service providers, and others.
•Ensure secure logistics operations, including inbound material movement, warehouse security, gate management, and outbound dispatch security.
• Prospective Budgets Planning for Security projects at Plant and utilisation of annual capex and focus on cost minimisation.
• Drive automation for security processes and to ensure efficiency and improvement in security processes .
• Ensure Zero Default in Emergency preparedness & response.

Experience

15+ years in security and vigilance role

Industry Preferred

Ex Army Officer, Lt Colonel / Colonel.
Ex BSF/CRPF, 2nd in Command/ Commandant

Qualifications

Min Graduate BSc/Bcom/ BA with essential courses of the Armed Forces
