Job summary

Bakingo in Haryana seeks a QA Lead to manage day-to-day Food Safety & Quality Assurance across production and storage areas. You will lead the QA team, conduct routine QA checks, and ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP standards, while maintaining detailed QA data and audits.

The role requires a Master’s/Tech degree in Food Technology or Microbiology with relevant QA experience in the food industry, strong leadership, and excellent data reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and QA processes.
• Proficient in QA data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day QA operations across production and storage areas.
• Conduct QA checks, audits, and CAPA tracking.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure compliance.
• Lead QA team, allocate tasks, monitor performance.
• Maintain QA records, reports, trend analysis.
• Provide on-floor training on food safety and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and company standards.
• Handle internal audits and non-compliance reporting.

Job description

• Manage day-to-day Food Safety & Quality Assurance operations across production and storage areas.
• Ensure process quality control through routine QA checks and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct SFG (Semi-Finished Goods) checks, receiving inspections, and product quality verification.
• Monitor hygiene, GMP, CCPs, temperature controls, and food safety practices on the floor.
• Lead and handle QA team activities, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain and manage QA data, reports, audit records, trend analysis, and documentation.
• Conduct on-floor training sessions for staff on food safety, hygiene, and operational compliance.
• Make regular observations during routine QA rounds and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle internal audits, non-compliance reporting, CAPA tracking, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards.
