Job summary

Legrand in Rohad, Haryana, India, seeks a seasoned production leader to drive operations for Data Center products. You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate with engineering and supply chain, and push continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality, delivery, productivity, and safety targets.

The role requires a 5–8 year manufacturing background, preferably in Data Center Infrastructure, and a strong focus on Lean methods and safety culture. On-site work is expected in Rohad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Production Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in Data Center Infrastructure, Electrical Panels, Bus Ducts, or Sheet Metal Fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Lead NPI, process setup, production trials, and ramp-up activities.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and shop-floor resources.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Drive CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to EHS requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Track KPIs including productivity, quality, rejection rates, OTD, and manpower efficiency.
• Develop and mentor production teams.

Job Description

To lead production operations for Data Center products including PDCs, RPPs, Server & Storage Racks, Containerized/Skid Solutions, Cable Support Systems, and Bus Ducts, ensuring achievement of quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and safety targets while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
