Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and sourcing for logistics and warehousing.
• Knowledge of GST, invoicing and purchase order processes.
• Exposure to packaging material procurement and vendor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Procurement operations: end-to-end procurement of materials including packaging, warehouse consumables, equipment and services.
• Vendor management: identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers; ensure quality and delivery standards.
• Negotiation: pricing, payment terms, and service agreements to balance cost and quality.
• Purchase planning: forecast material requirements and create purchase schedules with warehouse and ops teams.
• Inventory coordination: avoid stockouts or overstocking of critical items.
• Cost control: identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes while maintaining quality.
• Documentation & compliance: maintain procurement records and ensure purchases align with policies and audit needs.
• Data management: generate reports on procurement performance, vendor metrics, and cost analysis.

Job Overview

Emiza Supply Chain Services is looking for an experienced Procurement Candidate to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement activities across our logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will come from a logistics background and be adept at ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services essential for efficient warehouse operations and mainly Packaging Material.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Manage end-to-end procurement of materials including packaging, warehouse consumables, equipment, and services.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers. Ensure vendor compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements to ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
• Purchase Planning: Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to forecast material requirements and create purchase schedules accordingly.
• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with inventory and store teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking of critical items.
• Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes while maintaining quality standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure all purchases are in line with company policies and audit requirements.
• Data Management: Generate reports on procurement performance, vendor metrics, and cost analysis for internal reviews.
