Job summary

Elvi Bardahl India is seeking a procurement professional based in Mumbai to manage end-to-end packaging materials sourcing. The role requires coordinating with QC, Stores, Production and R&D to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance, while managing supplier relations and negotiating terms.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years in Purchase/Procurement, experience with SAP/Tally and MS Excel, and a strong eye for cost efficiency and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Location: Andheri West, Mumbai Near Lower Oshiwara Metro Station

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of Packaging Materials (PM).
• Monitor daily indents/requirements and release Purchase Orders (POs).
• Daily monitoring of ELVI & FACS BPR (Batch Production Record) and coordinate packaging material requirements accordingly.
• Identify, develop, and onboard new suppliers.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time, and supply conditions.
• Coordinate with QC, Stores, Production & R&D for material requirements and quality approvals.
• Ensure timely delivery of packaging materials and avoid production delays.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/QMS and supplier documentation, including COA, TDS, MSDS, etc.
• Conduct supplier visits/audits as required.
• Track PM movement, pending POs, and procurement spend.
• Prepare MIS and procurement reports.
• Ensure timely supplier agreements and NDAs.
• Coordinate for supplier bill verification and resolution of discrepancies.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely resolution of quality, delivery, and supply-related issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate with 2–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably handling Packaging Materials.
• Experience in Chemical, Lubricant, Automotive, Auto Care, or Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of Vendor Management, Supplier Negotiation, Material Planning, Inventory, Cost Efficiency, and MIS.
• Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP/Tally and MS Excel preferred.
