Job summary

Hyosung is seeking a seasoned professional with 10–15 years of hands-on experience in high voltage switchgear or substations. The candidate should be proficient in GIS products, read customer specifications, and interpret electrical drawings in line with IEC standards.

The role requires leading, guiding and training teams, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Substation or switchgear background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years hands-on experience in high voltage switchgear or substations.
• Experience reading customer specs and understanding requirements.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings and IEC standards.
• Experience reviewing technical queries related to GIS products.
• Experience leading, guiding and training teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide GIS product expertise to project teams.
• Review customer specifications and IEC standard compliance.
• Lead and train engineering teams on GIS and HV substation projects.
• Collaborate with substation/switchgear teams to ensure integration and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to GIS product standards and quality expectations.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Candidate shall have expertise in GIS products.
• He/she shall have at least 10-15 years of hands-on experience on engineering activity of High voltage switchgear or substations.
• Conversant with reading customer specification, understanding customer requirement & thorough knowledge of electrical drawings.
• Experience to review technical queries or GIS product and IEC standard is must.
• Experience of handling teams, guiding, and training team members.

Candidate from Substation or Switchgear industry will be preferable.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Experience: 10 to 15 Years
• Qualification: BE / B. Tech (Electrical)
• Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
• Knowledge of basic computer software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Preferred GIS, Switch gear industry only.
