Parle, a leading FMCG company in Mumbai, invites a packaging professional to drive development for new product innovations and renovations across overseas markets. You will ensure packaging functionality, quality, regulatory compliance and market fit.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in FMCG.
• Experience with packaging of biscuits, snacks or confectionery preferred.
• Export packaging experience is beneficial.

Role & responsibilities:

• Packaging Development: Manage packaging development for new product innovations and renovations across overseas/export markets, ensuring functionality, quality, regulatory and market requirements.

• Export Packaging: Develop and optimize packaging formats suitable for international transportation, storage, handling and varying climatic conditions.

• Cost Optimization: Drive value improvement and cost-saving initiatives through material optimization, light weighting, alternate materials and packaging standardization.

• Sustainability: Support packaging sustainability initiatives through material reduction, recyclability, light weighting and sustainable packaging solutions.

• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with packaging suppliers for material development, trials, testing and commercialization.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing and overseas business teams for timely execution of packaging projects.

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure packaging meets export market regulatory, quality, food safety and customer-specific requirements.

Experience Required:

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in FMCG


• Preferred but not essential:

- Experience with Packaging of Biscuits, Snacks or Confectionery preferred

-Experience with Exports packaging
