Job summary

Packfora in Bengaluru is seeking packaging material engineers to develop primary and secondary packaging materials, coordinate sample trials, and finalize specifications based on market needs.

You will resolve technical issues through root cause analysis, prepare master records, and inspect artwork and samples while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: PG/BE from IIP/SIES or an equivalent qualification in Packaging or a related field.
• Development of Primary, Secondary Packaging Materials for existing & new Packaging Material, arranging samples for trials and fitment check etc.
• Finalizing packaging material specification with respect to market requirements, designing aspects.
• Resolving technical issues through root cause analysis and providing technical support related to packaging material.
• Preparation of Master packaging record.
• Online Inspection /approval of packaging material.
• Analysis of Incoming & Market packaging material samples & preparation of reports, procurement
• Stakeholder Management
• Checking of artworks of containers/ stickers/shade cards etc.
• Conduct meetings with Packaging Material Vendors in case of any discrepancies found.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging materials for existing and new products and coordinate sample trials.
• Finalize packaging material specs considering market requirements and design aspects.
• Resolve packaging issues via root-cause analysis and provide technical support.
• Prepare Master packaging records and ensure online approvals.
• Analyze incoming and market samples and prepare procurement reports.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate with packaging material vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Inspect artworks for containers, stickers, and shade cards.
• Lead and participate in vendor meetings to address issues.
