Job summary

Bene kleed, based in Bangalore, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Outsourcing to drive end-to-end production execution with external manufacturing partners. You will coordinate vendors, internal teams, and QA to ensure on-time deliveries and quality; handle T&A, factory visits, and MIS updates.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in apparel production or outsourcing, strong vendor management, and proficiency in Excel. Willingness to travel to vendor factories is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Apparel Production or Outsourcing.
• Experience handling external garment manufacturing vendors.
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of production planning and T&A management.
• Experience working with woven and/or knit garments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
• Comfortable traveling to vendor factories when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage production across outsourcing vendors from order release to final dispatch.
• Allocate production based on vendor capability, capacity, and timelines.
• Follow up on fabric, trims, approvals, and production readiness with internal teams.
• Track production against the T&A calendar and ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct regular factory visits to monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure production quality standards and reduce rejections with QA teams.
• Monitor vendor performance on quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Identify production risks early and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and weekly production MIS and share updates with management.
• Support vendor negotiations for better efficiency and cost optimization.
• Ensure timely dispatches from factories to warehouses.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager – Outsourcing, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end production execution through external manufacturing partners. You will coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and quality functions to ensure timely production, consistent quality, and on-time deliveries.

This role requires someone who can build strong vendor relationships while keeping production on track and solving problems proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production across assigned outsourcing vendors from order release to final dispatch.
• Allocate production based on vendor capability, capacity, and timelines.

• Track production against the Time & Action (T&A) calendar and ensure milestone adherence.
• Conduct regular factory visits to monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure production quality standards are maintained and work closely with QA teams to reduce rejections.
• Monitor vendor performance on quality, delivery, and compliance.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in Apparel Production or Outsourcing.
• Experience handling external garment manufacturing vendors.
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of production planning and T&A management.
• Experience working with woven and/or knit garments.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Comfortable traveling to vendor factories whenever required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with fashion, retail, or D2C brands.
• Familiarity with ERP or production management systems.
