Job summary

Apraava seeks a seasoned professional to manage Solar asset O&M and related operations for Veltoor asset in India. You will drive planning, forecast accuracy, and budget alignment while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable revenue realization and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on asset performance, warranty management, and continuous improvement across Dispatch, HSSE, and governance processes within the solar portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support business planning for Solar Assets with generation and revenue figures for Veltoor asset.
• Provide inputs to Head – O&M (Solar) on projected generation & revenue figures and budget requirement for Veltoor asset.
• Maintain high availability of plant & grid and high forecasting accuracy.
• Track asset performance against budgets/business plan and provide periodic updates to management on the same.
• Ensure warranty management & claims with the OEMs in line to the agreement.
• Oversee asset management for Veltoor asset, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with all contractual terms & conditions.
• Support on-site implementation of defined systems, policies and procedures for effective asset management in line with global best practices.
• Efficiently execute all activities pertaining to Asset management, Dispatch Management, Performance Management, Availability management, HSSE compliance and Knowledge management.
• Keep abreast of latest practices and technologies in solar asset management; identify practices feasible for Apraava Energy to ensure continuous improvement of the assets.
• Ensure proper training of all contract personnel on asset operating procedures and SOPs.
• Train and Authorize contract personnel for related HSSE Compliance.
• Ensure conduct of Audits w.r.t O&M and HSSE systems based on defined timelines.
• Support the CSR Team by providing references of local community stakeholders.
• Support the Admin / Land Team by providing first hand information w.r.t local ROW issues and coordinate with local stakeholders / AMC contractor for resolution of RoW issues, as required

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Accountabilities

  • Provide inputs to Head – O&M (Solar) on projected generation & revenue figures and budget requirement for Veltoor asset (such as for O&M, manpower, statutory fees and other related charges and fees)
  • Maintain high availability of plant & grid and high forecasting accuracy
  • Track asset performance against budgets/business plan and provide periodic updates to management on the same.
  • Ensure warranty management & claims with the OEM’s in line to the agreement.
• Oversee asset management for Veltoor asset, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with all contractual terms & conditions

  • Provide inputs for adjustment of the business plan as per performance and provide forecasts to the management
  • Develop strong relationships with Dis Coms and other government bodies to ensure timely submission of all invoices and realization of revenue for Veltoor asset
  • Ensure timely maintenance and collation of all asset management documents, contract copies, invoices, land documents etc. for future reference and audit preparedness
  • Ensure that documentation management is at all times updated . for future reference and audit preparedness.
• Monitor compliance of all asset activities with applicable HSSE parameters and policies to drive required standards at work, ensuring smooth plant operations with zero instances of non-compliance
  • Provide inputs for finalization of HSSE policies and procedures for Veltoor asset in line with global standards and best in-class practices
  • Conduct periodic meetings and toolbox talks for all asset personnel (including contractors and sub-contractors) to drive awareness and knowledge of Apraava’s HSSE policies and procedures
  • Report all HSSE accidents and near misses as per defined timelines; Monitor timely implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Ensure compliance to HSSE norms and guidelines for all asset activities; Highlight cases of non-compliance to Head – O&M (Solar)
