Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled IoT / MES Integration Engineer with strong shop‑floor connectivity and IT/OT convergence experience in heavy manufacturing environments (Automotive / Industrial Equipment).

This role requires hands‑on expertise in connecting industrial machines (CNC, VMC, Robots, Welding Cobots, PLC‑driven equipment) to enterprise systems and enabling real‑time data flow into MES/MoM, IoT, and CMMS platforms.

The ideal candidate will work closely with U.S.–based manufacturing clients, plant engineering teams, OEM vendors, and IT teams to design, implement, and support machine connectivity, MES integration, and digital manufacturing solutions.

Experience

6–9 Years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shopfloor Connectivity & Machine Integration:
Integrate CNC/VMC machines, industrial robots, and automated cells using standard industrial protocols (OPC UA, MTConnect, MQTT, Modbus, etc.) and platforms like Kepware and deviceWISE. Work across major controllers (Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc, Mitsubishi) to enable seamless data acquisition.
  • MES / MoM / CMMS Integration:
Connect shopfloor systems with MES/MoM and CMMS platforms to enable production tracking, traceability, OEE monitoring, and downtime analysis. Support MES deployment, rollout, and L2/L3 stabilization activities.
  • IoT & Cloud Enablement:
Design and implement IoT architectures leveraging Azure IoT services, enabling real‑time data pipelines for equipment monitoring and predictive maintenance, with edge computing capabilities.
  • Client Engagement & Delivery:
Collaborate with global manufacturing clients to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and coordinate with plant, IT, and OEM teams. Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and go‑live activities.
  • Operations & Support:
Troubleshoot connectivity, protocol, and data issues while ensuring secure OT network integration. Provide ongoing L2/L3 support for MES and IoT systems.
Required Skills & Experience :
  • Core Technical Expertise (Must‑Have):
Strong hands‑on experience in shopfloor machine connectivity (CNC, robots, PLCs) with in‑depth knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC UA, MTConnect, and MQTT. Proficiency in working with major industrial controllers (Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc) and connectivity tools like Kepware or deviceWISE. Proven experience integrating shopfloor systems with MES/MoM platforms and solid understanding of OT‑IT integration, including edge‑to‑cloud data flow. Ability to directly engage with manufacturing clients.
  • Preferred Skills:
Experience with MES platforms (Ignition, Proficy) and CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., IBM Maximo). Familiarity with Azure IoT, cloud architectures, and edge computing. Good understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, downtime tracking, and production processes.
  • Additional Skills (Good to Have):
Knowledge of Python/.NET development, Power BI visualization, and exposure to AI/ML for predictive maintenance and computer vision applications in manufacturing.
