Job summary

About The Role

The Media Centre of Excellence (COE) is the central team responsible for setting the standard for how media is planned, evaluated, and optimised across the business, working alongside brand teams.

This is a media x business role, with two core focus areas:

• Efficiency — optimise media efficiency to deliver maximum reach at the lowest cost.


• Business impact — track media, competition, consumer, and business signals together to identify where media can drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Efficiency

• Optimise reach across each medium — through media mix, targeting options, and formats — to deliver maximum reach at the lowest cost.

Platform evaluation

• Assess each platform on its cost and its contribution to reach.


• Evaluate audience fit and the point at which returns begin to diminish.


• Recommend platform-level investment levels and the optimal mix of markets, media, and platforms.

In-month optimisation

• Monitor delivery against plan through the month.


• Identify underperforming media or markets and make corrections while campaigns are live.


• Document learnings and apply them to future plans.

Media-to-business tracking

• Track media, competition, consumer, brand-health, and business metrics on an ongoing basis to understand how media influences brand and business outcomes.


• Attribute media’s contribution and identify growth cells — the markets and segments where media can drive results.


• Use these insights to inform future media deployment.

Requirements

• 4–7 years in media planning or strategy.


• Strong grounding in audience-led, reach-first planning.


• Proficient in media research and measurement tools (e.g., BARC, comScore, TGI, GWI) and reach/planning tools.


• Comfortable working with data; able to build and check models in Excel.


• Interest in the business impact of media and how it links to brand and business outcomes.
